Problem
Identify the likelihood and frequency of this hazard
Disasters strike somewhere in the United States every day, and small or volunteer emergency response teams dont have the funding to have the equipment to operate as well as more highly funded government agencies.
Explain how vulnerable the community is to this hazard
There is no place in the country that is safe from natural or man-made disasters, and there are 2400 CERT teams alone in the United States that operate with little to no funding that can use the app.
List the potential affects of this hazard
A lack of funding for more expensive solutions reduces these teams' effectiveness and in turn can cost lives with poor communication.
Identify how sensitive the community is to these affects
Interest by CERT teams all across the country has been overwhelmingly positive.
