An Overview Of Our Solution

Burkina Faso is in of high rates of poverty and difficulty in achieving food self-sufficiency in Burkina Faso. This requires increased development of small producers' production and development capacities. Rural zones are mostly impacted by degraded lands, desert advance, pollution of the earth caused by fertilizer use chimiques. We allow the producer to benefit from the technical and financial means that are necessary for a farm to conserve soil and sustain the ecosystem of these areas. Most of our agripreneurs are young and womenThis is very difficult in Africa because of socio-cultural constraints. Less than 30% of women have access to land in Burkina Faso and Africa.

Solution

Describe your solution

INVIA-Farms is a unique concept for financial and technical support to small-scale farmers based on the principles of crowdfunding and the direct involvement of the diaspora. Our vision is to generate xealth in Africa through investing in profitable business ventures in the underfunded fish and agricultural sector. Most of these agripreneurs connot afford or easily access the funds they require from conventional lenders. We form o joint venture with the agripreneurs and co-manage the farming project.Through our intermediation and management service, we are able to meet the material and financial needs facing our producers, particularly those in our regions, which are the subject of large-scale vegetable production. In addition, we are working to open up to them a western market, a market that is very much based on certain quality standardsWe channel capital to profiatble and sustainable ventures through strategicpartnerships supported by our web platform.Through our Fairtrade concept, our farmers gain stable and sustainable sources of income through their farms and fish farms. Thus they will be able to feed their families, educate their children and secure their future. One of the benefits of INVIA Farms is the creation of many jobs for women and young people. The latter will no longer have to flee rural areas in order to find a highly remunerative job. We transform rural exodus into urban exodus.

Our company aims to develop the riches of rural areas by creating jobs, funding for agricultural and fishery projects to eradicate poverty in this environment. Several factors contribute to the success of our company. Effect, the Africans of the Diaspora say they are not involved in the development projects of their countries of origin. Our market research has shown us that more than 80% are ready to invest sustainably in agriculture-fish farming. Thus, small-scale farmers can not produce well because they do not have access to finance and the market. So INVIA Is an opportunity for them. All this combined with our agricultural and fish farm engineers, as well as the support of the ministries of agriculture and the environmental booster INVIA farms. ° Currently the challenges are INVIA Cocks. We must deploy throughout the territory of Burkina Faso, register associations of producers of the Diaspora. We buy seeds, fertilizers and meals for fish that are very expensive. To meet these challenges, we have the support of the ministries to let us know and have partners. We also aim to acquire machines to produce ourselves seed fertilizer and fish meal.

External connections

To ensure INVIA Farms we Saphyto key partnership for the supply of quality seeds and fish breeding center for the satisfaction of our needs fry. For the marketing of the productions, we have partnerships with the supermarkets, and we are in prospect for the export of certain productions in Europe. The agricultural sector is INVIA farms in symbiosis with other sectors of aquaculture, the protection of the environment through the circular economy. The leaves and vegetables of the agricultural products enter the feeding of the fish and the water of the fish basins are used to fertilize the agricultural fields at the expense of the chemical fertilizers
Results

What is the environmental or ecological challenge you are targeting with your solution?

In addition to the technical and financial support to farmers, the environmental challenge we target is the reduction of pollution of the earth caused by fertilizer use chimiques.Farmers should switch to the use of organic fertilizers , But also the promotion of an organic food whose chain of production is totally respectful of the environment. Through our concept of participatory financing we allow the producer to benefit from the technical and financial means that are necessary for a farm to conserve soil and sustain the ecosystem of these areas. We thus advocate sustainable development in the sense that we will enable small-scale producers to better produce, develop their activity and dispose of their production while respecting the environment, notably through the preservation of soils and trees.

Describe the context in which you are operating

The context in which we work is a context of high rates of poverty and difficulty in achieving food self-sufficiency in Burkina Faso. This requires increased development of small producers' production and development capacities. The latter are struggling to find ways to finance the expansion of their operations with conventional credit institutions, and we present ourselves as a saving initiative for these small producers. We will be able to respond to the current need to reduce poverty in rural areas, notably through training, accompaniment and opening up markets for the sale of goods. But all this will have to be done according to all the principles related to the protection of the environment, and therefore sustainable and endogenous economic development.

How did you impact natural resource use and greenhouse gas emissions?

The main objective of INVIA farms is to develop organic agriculture and circular economy to sustainably preserve the environment, INVIA farms also allows the transfer of technology to the farmer. -by technology transfer including through the training of agro entrepreneurs, manufacture of bio fish meals and quality seed use, makers agris improve their knowledge in order to better protect the environment and organic produce to the detriment of Chemical product. _A Circular economy: indeed, leaves and vegetable gardens are used to make fish meal, so gentle feed of the environment. In return, fish water is re-used to fertilize agricultural fields, thereby eliminating the use of chemical fertilizers that are harmful to the environment. -A Through reforestation campaigns, INVIA farms allows the agri taker protect biodiversity to recover degraded lands and stop the advance of the desert.
