Climate Change Needs Behavior Change

Green Drinks Karlsruhe

Karlsruhe, Allemagne

An Overview Of Our Solution

Expressed buy-in, action, letting-go, ownership, and flow are five important aspects to organizational change. Karlsruhe, a German city with a mayor who is a signatory on the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy, hosts a major research institution KIT and a major EU joint research center. Activities are already underway to address climate change, but the puzzle is how to thread together the community -- students, businesses, government, researchers, and citizens -- to greater effect. This case study highlights the possibility, when intended, a route that a small team might use to engage all groups.
